Generate a human-readable description of a change method

Used by report-generation functions to describe how changes were calculated.

Usage

describe_change_method(method, context = "taxa")

Arguments

method

A character string or function specifying the change method.

context

Character string: "taxa" (default) for taxa abundance context, "alpha" for alpha diversity context.

Value

A single character string describing the method.
